Gum Bichromate

Gum bichromate is a 19th century

photographic print technique 

utilizing watercolor pigment combined

with a light sensitive emulsion.

Exposure to UV light is required

and the image is developed in water.

​

These prints were created using many

layers of emulsion with various

levels of pigment intensity.
